Headed by Head Golf Professional Ted Antonopoulos, this staff has a combined 50 years of experience, providing our Members with a wealth of golf knowledge, including the latest techniques in instruction, fitness, merchandising, club fitting, club repair, tournament administration, and the Rules of Golf. We strive every day to provide our Members and their guests with an authentic and memorable golf experience at Mayacama. sip 'n swing TOURNAMENT & dinner

Join us for this fun, casual golf event. Open to Social Members and guests. Our Sip ‘N Swing event begins with a 4:00 pm shotgun start, followed with a dinner buffet on the Dining Room Terrace. The format for this event is a six-person, 9-hole scramble. Make your own team of six or sign up individually and we will pair you with a group. Participants will enjoy a speciality cocktail and sip summer wines on some of the holes. Even if you aren't able to play in the Sip 'N Swing, make plans to meet up with the players and enjoy a fun dinner buffet.

PARENT-CHILD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

The spirit of the Parent-Child Championship is to bring family members together by providing a fun golf experience that will be memorable for all participants and to introduce new and young golfers to competitive golf. Teams consist of any parent-child combination and all ages are welcome.

MAYACAMA GOLF CLUB TO HOST
AMERICAN JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION OPEN

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the AJGA Junior at Mayacama, where 72 of the nation's top Junior Golfers will be here to compete for this prestigious title. The format will be 54 holes played at Stroke Play (36-holes on Tuesday and 18-holes on Wednesday) and the field will consist of boys and girls ages 12-18.
About the AJGA - "The American Junior Golf Association is a nonprofit organization, dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf. Since 1978, the American Junior Golf Association has been devoted to conducting national junior golf tournaments at the highest level of junior golf. In 2014, the AJGA will conduct approximately 109 tournaments for young players, ages 12-18. At each event, the AJGA seeks to live up to its mission statement by providing a first-class venue, professional staff and a safe environment. The AJGA requires its golfers to adhere to a Code of Conduct and the AJGA Pace of Play Policy." For more on the AJGA, please visit their website.
Spectators - Mayacama Members and Guests are encouraged to come out and watch this great field of Junior Golfers compete on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please see the Schedule of Events below for times.
Volunteers - We welcome Members and their families who would like to offer assistance as a volunteer for the AJGA Junior at Mayacama. We will need assistance to help with Live Scoring, Spotters, Shuttles, and Pace of Play Timers. If you or anyone in your family would like to volunteer, please call the Golf Shop at 707-569-2915.
Mayacama Junior Members Competing - Several Mayacama Members have gained access into this tournament based on their number of "Stars" gained through past performances in AJGA events. Those include Ben Albin, Connor Chesky, Daniel Connolly, Ryan Johnson, Scott Mitchell, and Carson Levit, who gained entry through a 36-hole playoff in the Junior Amateur Qualifier.
Starting Times - A complete list of Starting Times and Pairings will be available in the Golf Shop on Monday, July 7.
Course Availability - The golf course will be available for Member play during practice rounds on Monday, July 7. After Wednesday's final round, the course will be available for Member play at approximately 1:00 pm.
